Let’s celebrate the start of the chinese new year this Friday, January 31, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. with us at our Bakery & Cafe – Keefer Court.
A traditional Chinese Lion Dance will commence (to bring good luck and fortune for the coming year), loud firecrackers will be sounded (to scare the evil spirits away), as well as the Chinese Kung Fu demo to follow.
I, Chairman Kwan, will also perform some of the Lion Dance too. I love to take part every year. It brings back the memory of my childhood in Hong Kong when I learned Kung Fu and the traditional Lion Dance. It’s so much fun to watch. We hope to see you there!
If you were born in: 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1999, 2002 – You were born under the sign of the Horse
People who were born in the Year of the Horse not only enjoy travel, but also have a chance of Speedy Success this year. Now is a time to go forward confidently in the direction of your Goals and Dreams. Just as the horse gallops at top speed towards its destination. Good Luck!
